  Large Scale Photographs on Vinyl Banner 8 panels 60"W x 90"H each Created for the City of Oakland and Dimond Improvement Association. We were commissioned to create and install a series of photographic banners in the interior of a vacant building in the heart of Oakland’s Dimond District. The goal of the artwork was to give the space a sense of familiar identity and involve the immediate community in the art making process. The center portion of the banners document various sites and symbols drawn from the surrounding neighborhoods while portraits of area residents, photographed on the streets of Oakland, were included to promote a sense of civic pride and ownership.
